These terms govern your use of eqrobot.co.uk and its subdomains (the "site"), operated by EQ Robot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17320134) with its registered office in London ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1The site is information, not advice

The site is a portfolio and marketing site. Everything on it — descriptions of our work, the interactive diagram, sample figures, demonstrations and linked prototypes — is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, financial, investment or other advice, and must not be relied on as such. Any figures, estimates or outputs shown are illustrative and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

Nothing on the site is an offer, and nothing on it forms a contract. Any engagement to provide services is subject to a separate written agreement signed by us; these terms do not govern that work, and where they conflict with a signed engagement agreement, that agreement prevails.

2Linked products and third parties

The site links to applications and prototypes — some on our own subdomains, some elsewhere — and to third-party websites. Those products and sites are provided under their own terms and privacy policies, and some are access-controlled or offered as proofs-of-concept. We are not responsible for the content, operation, availability or consequences of any linked application or third-party site, and a link is not an endorsement.

3No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components. You use the site, and rely on anything on it, entirely at your own risk.

4Limitation of liability

4.1  What we do not exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer that cannot be waived by agreement.

4.2  What we exclude. Subject to clause 4.1, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any loss or damage of any kind — whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, and whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise — arising out of or in connection with the site, your use of or inability to use it, or your reliance on any content, figure, demonstration or output on it, even if the loss was foreseeable and even if we had been advised of its possibility.

4.3  In particular, and without limiting clause 4.2, we will not be liable for any:

  • loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts or opportunity;
  • loss of anticipated savings, goodwill or reputation;
  • loss of or corruption of data;
  • decision made, or action taken or not taken, in reliance on the site; or
  • indirect or consequential loss of any kind, however it arises.

4.4  Cap. Subject to clause 4.1, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the site — across all claims, whether in contract, tort or otherwise — is limited to one hundred pounds (£100). Access to the site is provided free of charge, and this limit reflects that.

5Ownership and operation of the products

Every product and demonstration shown on this site is owned and operated by EQ Robot Ltd and its founder, Skander Ben Mansour. We design, build, host and run each of them ourselves, on domains and infrastructure we control, for our own account — not on behalf of, or as an agency for, any external customer or third party. These properties include:

This includes any product first built in a client or proof-of-concept context: in every case the application, its hosting and its day-to-day operation are ours, and we remain responsible for running it. Any advertising for these products is placed by us, for our own products only.

7Intellectual property

The site and its content — text, design, code and the EQ Robot name and mark — are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by law. Product names and logos shown in the portfolio belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the work. You may view and share links to the site, but you may not otherwise copy, adapt or reuse its content without our written permission.

8Changes

We may change the site, or these terms, at any time. The version published here applies to your use of the site, so please check it when you visit. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the site (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
